Chedder Bay Buscuits - Alt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder 
  • 1 3/4 Cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups of Shredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, cold and chopped 
  • 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt

Topping

  • 1/2 cup. butter
  • 1 tbsp. Freshly Chopped Parsley
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Oldonion Bay Seasoningpowder
  • pinch of salt 

Directions

  1.  Preheat oven to 400°. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and butter in a large mixing bowl and use a dough cutter/blender, spoon, or electric mixer until you’ve formed a dough with pea-sized lumps (Butter).butter.

  2. Slowly add in milk and keep mixing with a spoon until desired consistency. (Use your wants to kneed)

  3. Stir in garlic powder and cheese. Use a spoon or scoop to place 2" drops of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Bake until golden, 16-18 min. Check at 12-15 min. 

  5. Melt Topping in a pan and baste biscuit tops.
